Students' Residence Halls Hradební 7

DAMU has a part of the bed capacity at the Hradební Students’ Residence Halls. 

Students who have permanent residence outside Prague (30 km from Prague and further) can apply for accommodation at the AMU dormitory. Students will be allocated accommodation at Hradební dormitory according to the guidelines of the Decree of the Dean of DAMU No.3/2019. Its statutes and conditions of allocation of dormitory accommodation can be found below. 

The application for accommodation in Hradební dormitory can be submitted at the DAMU Study Department during office hours or the signed and scanned application can be sent to the email address: katerina.maxova@damu.cz. 

Applications for accommodation for the upcoming academic year will be accepted from 15 May. 

Closing date for applications: 21 June,

Notification of accommodation allocation: 25 June - 27 June.

There is no legal entitlement to accommodation. 

The modernly renovated students‘ residence halls in Hradební 7 is located in the historical centre of Prague and offers a total of 71 rooms and 129 beds to non-Prague students of all three faculties. 

All rooms are modernly equipped, arranged in two- and three-room apartments with private bathrooms, rooms are acoustically isolated, with AMU internet access. 

In the basement there are operating facilities with laundry and practice rooms with instruments (pianos, harpsichord, harp, organ) not only for musicians, in the attic rooms working studios for stage designers, on the ground floor a room with computer equipment. 

The dormitory also has one double apartment with wheelchair access, lifts and fully equipped kitchens on each floor. 

Accommodation can also be arranged in the summer period from July to September for individuals or interest groups.
