Announcement of creative and social scholarships

The Dean of the Theatre Faculty of AMU, in accordance with the AMU Scholarship Regulations, announces the acceptance of applications for

1. FACULTY SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION

Faculty social scholarships are awarded to students especially in cases when their difficult social situation prevents them from successfully fulfilling their study obligations. The application must be accompanied by documents proving its legitimacy (e.g. family income documents, child's birth certificate, certificate of social hardship from the Labour Office, siblings' study certificates, health certificates, certificates from the Labour Office, rental contract, etc.). The application must include a breakdown of income, expenses and the socio-economic situation of the student. The Office of Student Services will secure a statement from the appropriate department head*. In reviewing the application, the Scholarship Committee will take into account the following:

2. CREATIVE SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUTSTANDING ARTISTIC, RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT OR INNOVATION ACHIEVEMENTS

The scholarship is awarded for outstanding artistic, scientific, research, development or innovation achievements. The proposal for the award of a creative scholarship is made by the head of the department or by the student, who*may nominate himself/herself or another student*. The proposal must be accompanied by documents proving its legitimacy (e.g. a list of festival participation or awards, a list of media coverage, a list of extra-curricular activities) and must be sufficiently and in detail justified, with a specific indication of what the exceptional creative result consists of. If the department chair submits more than one proposal (i.e., a proposal to award a scholarship to more than one student*), a prioritization must be provided (indicate 1-3, with 1 being the highest priority).

Applications and proposals for all types of scholarships should be submitted on the prescribed forms published on the faculty's website, where you can also find the full text of the AMU Scholarship Regulations
