Výnos děkanky DAMU č. 1/2025 o stanovení poplatků za studium ve studijních programech uskutečňovaných v cizím jazyce pro AR 2025/2026.
1) Pursuant to Article 20, paragraph 5 of the Statute of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (hereinafter referred to as "AMU") and Article 4 of the Rector's Decree No. 2/2025, the Dean of the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (hereinafter referred to as "AMU") issues this Decree within the limits of legal regulations, internal regulations and standards of AMU and the Faculty.
2) This Decree regulates the amount of fees for study in accredited study programmes conducted at AMU in a foreign language for students enrolled in the academic year 2025/2026.
1) The amounts of fees for studying in a foreign language are set for one full academic year (winter and summer semesters), both during the standard period of study and after its expiry, but not longer than the maximum period of study.
2) The binding and valid amounts of the foreign language fee are set and will be payable in CZK in accordance with Article 4(3) of Rector's Decree 2/2025.
3) Bank charges, including foreign currency conversion fees, are payable by the payer.
4) The fee for the three-year Bachelor's degree programme in Authorial Acting (B0215A310012) is set at CZK 230,000.
A student who has distributed their academic year over two academic years shall pay half of the specified tuition fee for the first academic year and the other half for the second academic year. The amount of the second half of the fee is derived from the amount specified in the relevant decree of the dean valid for the given academic year. The student shall apply for the distribution of the academic year before the beginning of the academic year.
The student must sit for the state final examination no later than two academic years after fulfilling the academic obligations of the relevant study plan. For the period following the fulfillment of the study plan requirements until the completion of their studies, the fee is CZK 40,000 per academic year (CZK 20,000 per semester).
5) The fee for study in the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme in Authorial Acting (N0215A310017) is set at CZK 230,000.
A student who has distributed their academic year over two academic years shall pay half of the specified tuition fee for the first academic year and the other half for the second academic year. The amount of the second half of the fee is derived from the amount specified in the relevant decree of the dean valid for the given academic year. The student shall apply for the distribution of the academic year before the beginning of the academic year.
The student must sit for the state final examination no later than two academic years after fulfilling the academic obligations of the relevant study plan. For the period following the fulfillment of the study plan requirements until the completion of their studies, the fee is CZK 40,000 per academic year (CZK 20,000 per semester).
6) The fee for studies in the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme Scenography (N0212A310014) for the specialisation Theatre Scenography (D0N0014A) is set at: CZK 215,000.
A student who has distributed their academic year over two academic years shall pay half of the specified tuition fee for the first academic year and the other half for the second academic year. The amount of the second half of the fee is derived from the amount specified in the relevant decree of the dean valid for the given academic year. The student shall apply for the distribution of the academic year before the beginning of the academic year.
The student must sit for the state final examination no later than two academic years after fulfilling the academic obligations of the relevant study plan. For the period following the fulfillment of the study plan requirements until the completion of their studies, the fee is CZK 40,000 per academic year (CZK 20,000 per semester).
7) The fee for studies in the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme Scenography (N0212A310014) for the specialisation Production Design (D0N0014B) is set at: CZK 228,000.
A student who has distributed their academic year over two academic years shall pay half of the specified tuition fee for the first academic year and the other half for the second academic year. The amount of the second half of the fee is derived from the amount specified in the relevant decree of the dean valid for the given academic year. The student shall apply for the distribution of the academic year before the beginning of the academic year.
The student must sit for the state final examination no later than two academic years after fulfilling the academic obligations of the relevant study plan. For the period following the fulfillment of the study plan requirements until the completion of their studies, the fee is CZK 40,000 per academic year (CZK 20,000 per semester).
8) The fee for the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme Directing of Devised and Object Theatre (N0215A310035) is set at: CZK 230,000.
A student who has distributed their academic year over two academic years shall pay half of the specified tuition fee for the first academic year and the other half for the second academic year. The amount of the second half of the fee is derived from the amount specified in the relevant decree of the dean valid for the given academic year. The student shall apply for the distribution of the academic year before the beginning of the academic year.
The student must sit for the state final examination no later than two academic years after fulfilling the academic obligations of the relevant study plan. For the period following the fulfillment of the study plan requirements until the completion of their studies, the fee is CZK 40,000 per academic year (CZK 20,000 per semester).
1) The fee will be payable in two instalments by the 15th day after the beginning of the semester in question; payment by credit card is the preferred form of payment. The details shall be laid down in the decision fixing the fee.
2) If the student fails to pay the fee duly and on time according to the conditions stated above, their studies will be interrupted in accordance with Article 14, paragraph 3 of the AMU Study and Examination Regulations. At the time of interruption of studies, the person whose studies have been interrupted is not a student. The period of interruption shall be counted towards the maximum period of study.
1) Other matters shall be governed by the current Rector's Decree on fees associated with studies for the academic year in question.
2) The Rector may reduce, waive or postpone the fee for a study programme conducted in a foreign language on the basis of a request by the student for a review of the assessment of the fee and, as a rule, on the proposal of the Dean of the faculty at which the student is enrolled, taking into account, in particular, the student's academic performance and social situation. The details of the possibility of reviewing the assessment of the fee shall be determined by the decision on the assessment of the fee and the principles set out in the Act and the internal regulations and standards of AMU.
3) This decree annuls Dean's Decree No. 4/2024.
4) This Decree shall enter into force on the date of signature and shall take effect on 1 September, 2025.
