EXTRAORDINARY MEASURE OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM 22 FEBRUARY 2021

Based on the extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in order to protect the population and prevent the occurrence and spread of the COVID-19 disease caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 issued on 22 February 2021 and effective from 25 February 2021 all students, teaching staff and employees of the DAMU Academy are prohibited from moving around all the DAMU premises and being present without the protection of their airways with a respirator FFP2/KN95 or another device of relevant standards (nano-masks, two medical facemasks – one on top of the other). This measure applies also to all students coming to oral exams and people applying to study at the academy during the entrance examination process.

In the period between 25 February 2021 and 28 February 2021 it is also possible to use other protective device which prevent the spreading of droplets in the premises of the faculty instead of the above stated ones.

The measure does not apply to:

a) pupils, students and teaching staff in accordance with the Education Act and students and academic staff in accordance with Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendment and Supplementation of Certain other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended, within the framework of educational activities, the nature of which makes wearing of protective equipment impossible (in particular physical education, singing and playing wind instruments);

b) persons performing copyrighted works (e. g. theatre, dance or musical performances), lecturers and persons participating in the creation and production of audio-visual works or programmes.

All other measures concerning the running and operation of the DAMU Academy from 15 February 2021 remain valid.
