ZLOMVAZ FESTIVAL 2021

The 28th annual student theatre festival is going to take place at DAMU on 29 September - 2 October under the title Restart. For several reasons:

RESTART OF THE FESTIVAL
Zlomvaz as we know it last took place in 2018. In 2019, Zlomvaz has been linked to the Prague Quadrennial as PQ Studio: Festival. Last year, the festival was cancelled due to the pandemic.

RESTART OF THINGS AND MATERIALS
Throughout the preparations and during the festival, we want to be sustainable and consider the environment. Recycling and reuse is a matter of course for us. This will be reflected not only in the production, but also, for example, in our festival merch.

STUDY RESTART
For a year now, apart from a few bright moments, our school has been closed. In June, we hope to be able to reunite there again, and celebrate the return to schools and full-time teaching.

RESTART CULTURAL
Re-experiencing culture here and now, as in the pre-pandemic era. In addition to the main theatrical showcase of school and non-school projects by students of DAMU, JAMU and VŠMU, the festival will offer a rich accompanying programme - concerts, discussions, workshops, exhibitions and more.

RESTART OF LIFE
We firmly believe that Zlomvaz will be a place where we will be able to meet again and enjoy it to the fullest together!

The festival is organized by the 2nd year students of the Department of Arts Management.
