Election of the ombudsman of DAMU

Dear teachers, employees and students,
We are extremely sorry, but due to a misspelling in the name of one of the candidates for the position of DAMU Ombudsman, we are forced to CANCEL THE CURRENTLY ONGOING ELECTION. As it stands, the vote is invalid.

YOU CAN VOTE AGAIN ON THE ELECTION APP FROM 1.4. 0:00 to 3.4. 23:59. We will announce the results on Monday 4 April.

The Ombudsman is elected by academic staff recruited on the basis of a selection procedure, students enrolled in a study programme run by the DAMU and other employees in an employment relationship with the DAMU (hereinafter referred to as "THP staff").
Each voter may vote only once, even if the student is also an academic staff member or a THP worker, or an academic staff member is also a THP worker.
The election commission appointed by the Dean of the DAMU on 12 January 2022 supervises the proper conduct of the election and announces the results of the election, ensuring equal and direct voting rights by electronic secret ballot. The list of candidates shall be published by the Election Commission no later than five days before the elections and within the same period the Election Commission may announce the holding of an assembly of the academic community where the candidates are presented.
The candidate with the highest number of votes shall be nominated as Ombudsman. In the event of a tie, a lot shall be drawn between the candidates who have received the same number of votes. If only one candidate takes part in the election, he/she shall be nominated as Ombudsman if he/she receives a simple majority of all valid votes cast.
