The 2020 ENCATC Digital Congress “Cultural management and policy in a post-digital world – navigating uncertainty”

3. November 2020 14:30 -
11. November 2020 19:15
The 2020 ENCATC Digital Congress “Cultural management and policy in a post-digital world – navigating uncertainty” next 3-11 November aims to explore ground-breaking innovations in cultural management and policy education and encourage steps to ensure significant improvements in this industry.
Different cultural agents are (re)positioning themselves in a post-digital context where digital has not been left behind, but rather where digitisation is embedded in all spheres of life and profoundly marks cultural shifts. What new, unforeseen challenges emerge for the cultural sector in a post-digital context and, in particular, after the coronavirus outbreak? How could cultural management and policy education prepare itself to adapt to a new scenario? With the help of an international roster of experts, this will be the opportunity for educators, researchers, cultural professionals, policy makers, and artists to thoroughly explore and share new knowledge, innovative practices, and insightful experiences on how arts and culture can stimulate reflection, and come up with new ideas and innovative solution to respond to challenges faced in our increasingly digital societies.
The ENCATC Digital Congress format is built on 7 main activities: The Conference; the Global Conversations; the Digital Heritage Perspective panel, the Education and Research Session; the ENCATC Research Award Ceremony; the ENCATC Research Boot Camp; and the Posters Digital Exhibition.
All content will be available on the digital platform for 6 months after the congress, so participants can have time to watch in case they miss some sessions, or wish to revisit it whenever they want during a 6 months period.
