Students were asked to create short authorial videos that would share their student experience at the Department of Authorial Creativity and Pedagogy (DACP/KATAP). They were given free space from concept to realisation. The original question that initiated the creation of the videos was, what do the students want to communicate to the prospective students of DACP (KATAP). The videos originated as a collaborative project across programs and years of the Department in 2022-23 and their creation was supported by an inner DAMU grant."

Relevant qualifications:

BA

Study in the Bachelor’s degree program is open to those who have successfully completed their secondary school studies. Students with diplomas from an upper secondary educational institution in EU countries can apply for admission to this program. Non-EU citizens are eligible for admission if they have qualifications recognised as being comparable to Czech entrance qualifications, your foreign certificate must be on the same level as the Czech upper secondary school leaving certificate. DAMU will require certified copies of your educational qualifications. That is, you must provide copies with original stamps and signatures.

MA

A copy of Bachelor diploma (with notarial certification), transcript of studies in English (or translated into English).
All material must be submitted in English or translated into English and sent to Mrs Marie Pejřimovská. DAMU will not return any items submitted.
Selected applicants will be invited to attend an audition at DAMU in Prague. In special cases, an online video audition may be arranged (e.g., via Skype).

Recognition of previous study is an obligation required by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic for students who apply for degree programs. The applicant shall request recognition of his/her bachelor diploma at the Czech University which provides similar study programs.

Ideally, applicants should provide us with a copy of the recognition of previous education in support of their application. If this is not possible, they must complete the process as the last requirement of the admission procedure. The recognition of previous study is a mandatory document. The application is considered incomplete until the Theatre Faculty has received all the required documents. Please note that we cannot issue an admission letter without this document.
