These three rooms are preferably determined by the schedule of individual bachelor grades. You will find the following equipment: hanging grate for fixing lights, a system for dimming and controlling lights (dimmable sockets, dimmers, and light console), basic audio equipment (sound console with an amplifier, CD player, two midrange speakers), piano. All acting studios can be darkened. Their entrance opens with the help of the Student Card. The studios include changing rooms R 101, R 201, and R 301, only students of the relevant bachelor's year have permission to enter the changing rooms.
The room is equipped with tools and instruments (grinders, chisels, drills, etc.), and has a capacity of 8 workplaces. To work here, please arrange in advance with Svatopluk Skála.
The painting room is a large walk-through room, suitable for group work. It is equipped with painting and sculpting stands, sculptural material, and other tools. The painting room is also a place for joint discussions and other larger activities of the department.
The room is equipped with a sink, casting molds and containers, the necessary materials and chemicals, and other tools.
Both rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, hand and power tools for machining materials and working with electronics. There are a total of 8 workplaces. You can use the R 114 workshop only after training in the operation of power tools, which will be guided by Sváťa Skála.
The warehouse is equipped with storage racks for storing fabrics/costumes. The operation is taken care of by "keepers" from the ranks of scenography students.
The photo chamber is equipped with the technical equipment needed for the processing of light-sensitive photographic material and the processing of specific assignments of students, to their free creation. The room has four places to work and can be used after training. If you are interested in applying for training, register with Honza Bažant.
The KALD club is a space common to all students of the department and is intended for informal meetings. This room is equipped with basic furniture. Occasionally, the room will be used for other purposes such as scenographic dinners, group scenographic consultations, or a final exhibition. The room is not locked.
This room is slightly smaller than the main acting studios and is mainly used to teach animation and stage speech. You will find a hundred puppets of various types, piano, basic light equipment (dimmer and small light counter, ramp for placing lights), and also a smaller audio system (2 speakers and a sound counter.) The room can be dimmed.
This room is slightly smaller than the main acting studios and is not equipped with lighting and sound equipment.
Attic space, slightly smaller than other acting studios, designed especially for multimedia projects. Here you will find a system for controlling and dimming the lights (counter and dimmer), sound equipment (speakers and mixing console), widescreen video projector, projection screen.
This room is intended for all master's degree students. It is used for the personal work of students and joint meetings. It is equipped with work desks and a computer. The room cannot be reserved, its entrance is opened with the help of the Student Card.
The room is equipped with hardware and software for composing, creating, and editing music and other sound recordings.
The room is equipped with 15 computers with licensed SketchUp programs, a complete package of Adobe CC programs, and many others. On weekdays from 6:00 to 23:00, the classroom is freely available to you, of course, while respecting the scheduled classes. Řetízek is a chamber theater with complete light and sound equipment and an elevation for 40 spectators. If you want to use the installed equipment when using the space, you must first undergo training. The training and reservations of Studio Řetízek are managed by Lukáš Briksa and you can request a reservation here.
The sound studio is a fully equipped professional studio suitable for smaller projects. It is used primarily for the implementation of teaching, recordings for the DISK theater, and recordings of creative works of students of the faculty. The head of the sound studio is Jiří Suchánek. He doesn't speak English, so ask Kristýna Jalůvková for help.
The space is located in Prague 6, in Halls 25 and 26, of the FEE CTU campus (ul. Technická 2). It is a platform for interdisciplinary intermedia cooperation of students and teachers of technical and artistic disciplines, which arose from the cooperation of AMU and CTU. It is available for school projects that require above-standard technical equipment and professional assistance.
