We cordially invite you to the Assembly of the Academic Community of DAMU, which is taking place on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm at the DISK Theatre on the occasion of the election of the Dean* of DAMU for the term 2025-2029. During the assembly, the candidates for the position of Dean of DAMU will present themselves and their concepts and answer questions from members of the DAMU Academic Community.
According to Article 3, paragraph 9 of the Rules of Procedure of the DAMU AS, the assembly is primarily addressed to the membership of the DAMU Academic Community, however, DAMU employees are also welcome.
The Assembly will be streamed to Haller Hall and also to the MS Teams and YouTube platforms. In the online space, logged-in users will be able to ask questions in writing in the chat area of the MS Teams app.
Simultaneous translation into English will be provided in the DISK Theatre. Unfortunately, no translation will be provided in the online area. Therefore, students and teachers who will be using the English translation are kindly requested to come directly to DISK.
The Dean of DAMU is elected by the membership of the Academic Senate of DAMU. The meeting to vote on the proposal for the appointment of the Dean will begin on the same day, October 18, at 7:00 pm in the DAMU meeting room. It will be streamed to Haller Hall and also to the MS Teams and YouTube platforms. The session will be held in Czech only, simultaneous interpretation will not be provided. Voting on the proposal for the appointment of the Dean is governed by the relevant provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the DAMU AS (document only in Czech).

Only persons logged in with a school account (email address) will be allowed to join the meeting in MS Teams, non-logged in users will not be allowed to join the meeting. If you wish to join the online discussion and have forgotten your school password or your password has expired, please contact Jakub Kavan at jakub.kavan@damu.cz Please contact him well in advance, not on the day of the stream.
