to close the years in the academic year 2021/22 and enrollment in higher years of study in bachelor's and master's degree programs.

Enrollment in the next year: 

In the period from 1 June 2022 to 14 September 2022, all students will submit an application for enrollment in a higher year electronically in KOS. If all study obligations are met at the time of submitting the application for enrollment, the enrollment will be automatically approved, otherwise the student will be contacted by the study department (hereinafter referred to as SO) before the end of the enrollment period.
In exceptional cases, it is possible to use the alternative date of 15 - 30 September 2022 to enroll in a higher year, when a personal visit to the SO is required.

Notice: Enrollment of optional and compulsory elective courses for the winter semester of the next academic year will begin on September 19, 2022 and will be available only to students duly enrolled in a higher year.

Changes in the enrollment of subjects for SS 2021/22 and exceptions from the study

Until the end of the teaching period in summer term (hereinafter as LS) – until 20 May 2022 inclusive – students may, in exceptional cases (which were not due to the student's fault or negligence), apply for enrollment or cancellation of elective and compulsory elective courses in this semester.
Enrolled subjects cannot be deleted after the beginning of the examination period!
Recognition of subjects must be applied for at the beginning of the current semester.
An exception from the study (distribution of the year, merging of years, transfer of subjects or interruption of study) for the academic year 2021/2022 must be requested in sufficient time so that the application can be decided before enrolling in a higher year.
The main and compulsory subjects without the possibility of re-enrollment can be transferred to the next semester or to the next academic year only in very exceptional cases and for serious reasons (eg health, family, social or other reasons that prevent the fulfillment of study obligations and which the student by appropriate documents) in accordance with Article 12 of the Study and Examination Regulations.

Notice: If you fail to complete enrolled electives and compulsory electives, it will not endanger your further studies, it will not limit your enrollment in the next year, it does not create an obligation to pay extra fees and the awarded classification N or F will not appear on your Diploma Supplement. 

Exam period for SS 2021/22

Teaching in the LS 2021/22 will end on Friday, May 20, 2022.
The regular examination period of the LS will take place from 23 May to 30 June 2022 – all regular examination dates must be announced by this date. The pedagogue is obliged to list a sufficient number of credit and examination terms in proportion to the number of students enrolled in the course.
The period for corrective and replacement examination dates is from 1 September to 14 September 2022. This period is not intended to list the first regular dates of the examination period.
The pedagogue is obliged to register the completion of each subject in the KOS within five working days after the award of the classification (Article 26, paragraph 12 of the SZŘ). KOS will be open for registration by 21 September 2022. Courses that do not have a classification by this deadline will be considered unsuccessfully (N for credits, F for exams) and according to the role of the course in the study plan of individual students, such procedure may lead to the termination of studies for non-fulfillment of study obligations according to § 56 par. 1 let. b) of the Higher Education Act!
Pedagogues are advised to check in time that they have all the parameters for awarding the classification of subjects taught set correctly in KOS. In case of identified deficiencies, contact the study department immediately, which will provide the necessary assistance with their solution. After closing the KOS (September 21, 2022), it will not be possible to enter the classification later.
Through the KOS information system, the student is obliged to continuously monitor the fulfillment of his / her study duties and to consult any deficiencies or problems in a timely manner with the pedagogue, department or study department (Article 20, paragraph 2, letter c) of the SZŘ).

State final exams, submission to VŠKP and graduation:

Students registered for the final state examination (hereinafter SZZ) in June and September 2022 must have a year closed no later than the day before the relevant state examination, ie completed study plan of the relevant study, required number of credits (bachelor's three-year study 180, follow-up master's two-year study 120). All classifications must be registered in the KOS system.
Bachelor or Master written thesis (hereinafter referred to as VŠKP) is submitted in one hard copy (in hardcover) and at the same time electronically in KOS no later than one month before the SZZ. It is not necessary to submit the VŠKP on a CD, as stipulated by the Rector's Decree 4/2006 resp. 2/2006!

Beginning of the academic year 2022/23

The period of enrollment of compulsory and optional subjects for the winter term of the academic year 2022/23 in the KOS system is set from 19 September to 16 October 2022 (Article 21, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the SZŘ).
Classes in the winter term 2022/2023 will begin on October 3, 2022 and will last until December 23, 2022.
The matriculation of all newly admitted students will take place on October 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. in the Martinů Hall. Orientation days for newly admitted students will take place from 4 to 7 October 2022.
The meeting of the academic community in the DISK Theater on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year will take place on October 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m.
The graduation of DAMU graduates in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs will take place on November 24, 2022 in the Martinů Hall.
