The Movement Training Laboratory
offers training in movement
disciplines both for the Department of Dramatic Theatre and the Department of
Alternative and Puppet Theatre. It is a continuous pedagogical process set up
over six semesters.
The instruction programme is based on four basic movement training subjects:

for mastery of techniques and physical skill |

dance |
emphasizes stylized expression through movement, i.e. dance-like movement, musicality, for all historical periods through the present |
|
movement on stage |
develops imagination, fantasy and inspires one’s own creative process |
|
acrobatics |
as a purely specific subject for mastery of virtuosic movement/gymnastic techniques |
Instruction at the movement training laboratory includes elective subjects – fencing, step, flamenco.
